Urology

Kidney stones, urinary tract conditions and prostate follow-up. Assessment is supported by uroflowmetry and ultrasound.

How to attend

Book through the call centre, the online appointment form or the patient admissions desk.

A clinician examines you in the Urology outpatient clinic and any required tests are scheduled the same day.

Test results are reviewed, and the diagnosis and treatment plan are gone through with you.

Your follow-up appointment is set, with a referral to other departments where that is needed.

Conditions of the abdominal organs, hernia, gallbladder and thyroid surgery. Where suitable, the keyhole (laparoscopic) approach is preferred.

Treatment of fractures, dislocations and sports injuries, together with joint surgery. Casting and splinting are done within the department.

Assessment of hearing loss, adenoids, sinusitis and hoarseness. Audiometry and endoscopic examination are completed within the same appointment.
