Clinical Laboratory

Blood and urine tests, hormone and infection panels. Results for routine tests are usually available the same day.

How to attend

Book through the call centre, the online appointment form or the patient admissions desk.

A clinician examines you in the the Clinical Laboratory outpatient clinic and any required tests are scheduled the same day.

Test results are reviewed, and the diagnosis and treatment plan are gone through with you.

Your follow-up appointment is set, with a referral to other departments where that is needed.

X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Results are sent to your clinician digitally.

Microscopic examination of surgical and biopsy samples. The report reaches the requesting clinician within the period set for that sample type.
