Departments supported by the operating theatre. Alongside planned operations, emergency surgical procedures are also carried out by this group.

General Surgery
Conditions of the abdominal organs, hernia, gallbladder and thyroid surgery. Where suitable, the keyhole (laparoscopic) approach is preferred.
Weekdays 09.00 - 17.00
Orthopaedics and Traumatology
Treatment of fractures, dislocations and sports injuries, together with joint surgery. Casting and splinting are done within the department.
Weekdays 08.30 - 17.30
Ear, Nose and Throat
Assessment of hearing loss, adenoids, sinusitis and hoarseness. Audiometry and endoscopic examination are completed within the same appointment.
Weekdays 08.30 - 17.30
Urology
Kidney stones, urinary tract conditions and prostate follow-up. Assessment is supported by uroflowmetry and ultrasound.
Weekdays 09.00 - 17.00
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Pregnancy follow-up, gynaecological examination and delivery services. The delivery suite and neonatal unit are on the same floor.
